can't see the toon faithful being very happy about it. Keegan has just been on sky sports news saying it was his decision. I think he's lying to keep the fans on side.

Lol I'm all too aware of how shit we've been CS! Obviously as a kid I didnt read anything into it I'd just the games but I had to go to school everyday as a fan of City in Div.2 whilst my mates celebrated the treble.

in all seriousness, my dad took me to my first city game ever in 1977, and i took him to his last (the day of "that goal" that Geo scored against southampton) before he passed away we had stuffed blackburn to get back to the top flight, and the day we signed george weah the bastard doctors decided he needed a tube in his throat so he couldnt talk anymore. he loved city so much but to deprive him of being able to talk about it was harsh. the old bugger never made it long enough to see us play that season, but i know he was happy just to see us in the top flight where we belonged. In all the rubbish times he had made me suffer wit city , his response was always , its city they will always make you smile. As you will be aware days like thursday (winning badly in europe and signing swp back) make up for all the shit we have to suffer.
