I have to agree with some of this article.

I said on BM that I could never stick the knife in City like he has. It's OK to moan and vent on forums but this bloke is a journo and has knowingly used a National paper to do it.
Twat!

It's all about opinions, he's a city fan. I would never give up on City, but I agree with him about Ronaldinho, £200,000 a week is sick, it's like McPointer all over again but 10 times worse.

I also think the Ronnie thing is wrong, although I do understand the initial excitement of other fans.
It's just that the article lends itself to imagine that City fans are fickle....go and find another club? WTF is all that about?
We have people on these forums like Rasc and others who voice their beliefs and opinions about various things. That's fine and I understand. I don't always agree but I respect their viewpoints.
But this journo ends his article touting for another club to support.
Now that is either a slick Journo way to end his article, or he means it. Either way it's a ridiculous. He has either prostituted his club for a throaway remark or he really will find another club.
That isn't the way to behave.
Re: I have to agree with some of this article.
I would certainly hope he's telling the truth. He'll look a right twat otherwise.
I really think we've lost a lot of fans since the Dr took over, the journo has maybe used the wrong forum to voice his opinions, but I think he's touched on something that's really happening. I have spoken to loads of blues who won't set foot in the ground while the present regime is there. It doesn't mean they don't love the club, but they can see a little clearer what a farce this could all become.
If I had a column in a daily national I would tell the truth and shame the devil, whoever it upset. Besides, at 250,000 sales a day, the Gaurdian probably loses out to some of the more popular forums on the net in terms of readership.

Re: I have to agree with some of this article.
He HAS touched on some good points....concerns that a lot of us have had (and still have) but his comments re another team to support just piss me off, and that's when I stopped crediting the article with any sense of worth.
He should be ashamed of that comment. No City fan I have ever met would ever dream of supporting another team.

Re: I have to agree with some of this article.
i read that over on bm earlier, i just couldnt give up on a team that i had supported for 30+ years
some of his comments were fair enough, others a bit sensationalist and over dramatic for my tastes

Pass me another stella dear, this one's nearly finished.
