Micah Richards

Post by TheMightyQuinn on Thu May 29, 2008 2:44 pm

I would never want him to leave City as I think he is a great player but given the recent rumours about a move to the scum I've started to almost hope Chelsea come in with a massive bid for him and a contract that he just couldnt turn down. Wrong I know but if he leaves us it cant be to go to those twats from Trafford. No

Losing him I could deal with, fuck knows since being a kid my favourite players have never lasted long at City but to lose him to them would hurt and also make me look a right twat with my raggy bastard mates.

Besides which, apparently they wouldnt sell Smith to us, which I'm grateful for to be honest, but tit for tat we should tell them that Micah IS for sale BUT not to them and then laugh at them Laughing

Again I just can't see it happening and maybe Richards should give SWP a call and chat about how the grass isnt always greener or how to throw away an exciting career for the lure of the pound

If Thaksin lets him go to the Rags it would show great stupidity on his part, unless the replacement he had lined up was better and cost nothing. Even then I can't see City fans ever forgiving him. Micah is on a five year deal, he is going nowhere unless Thaksin wants him to.

What we dont know yet is how Thaksin would respond to 20+mil being dangled in front of his nose.

I don't think the new manager would be too pleased if he did let him go. I honestly can't see this happening.

If the new manager isnt in on the 'Frank runs shit ok' law that could be in place Stony.

I'm 50/50 on it at the moment. Everyone I know has heard the rumours, lets just hope that's all they are.

It is unthinkable that we could sell him, it'd show us all that nothing has changed re selling our best players and we'd have to seriously question the clubs ambition.

Unless we plan on replacing Micah with someone better and hopefully younger, in which case we'd be looking at spending what, 30mil?

All depends, IF we have to replace Richards we would have to spend £30 million to get an ENGLISH player of similar quality,I don't think there is any tbh
