Being slated on .nob, he's had better games but some people go way overboard with their criticism. I remember when he first arrived, some idiots said he was wank then.
There aren't many sides in the prem he wouldn't walk into to. One of our better players I think.

I think he will always have that little 'gutless' side to him, I don't really mind, he's still shit hot. It just makes him like a little kitten! But a kitten that is brilliant at football.

Tranny is a gutless little wank bag but I wouldnt complain if he played for us.

In my opinion slagging Petrov off for being gutless is like slagging off Dunne for his lack of quality finishing.

People need to accept different players/positions are VERY different in the modern game. It's no longer 11 blokes sweating blood it's 11 finely tuned athletes performing. Simple as that really.

If I ever see Micah or Dunnie bottle it i'll be worried. If I ever see Sturridge less shot happy I'll worry. Leave Petrov to his game, Sven commented last season how after every match the opposition manager would compliment Petrov and what a player he is.

For fucks sake he's a pacey left winger, the fact he isnt Vinny Jones when it comes to tackles suits me down to the ground!

Put it this way, rags for all their faults rarely bang on about Giggs not being the greatest defender in the world or Vidic not being the greatest midfield playmaker to ever live. Now, I hate to say this, but the rags have the right idea. Let's appreciate our players for what they CAN do, not what they CANT do.
