"Protest"

Just got back from the 'protest' that was on GMR, supposedly started at 5pm...


maximum 20 people there, Ian Cheeseman was asking us if the organiser, Chris Turnbull, who sent emails to the press was there...alas he wasn't.

Now ok, I can understand people not making it at such short notice, and people want to get home from work etc. BUT, the thing that wound me up the most was not the turnout, but the TWATS of security guards and wankers in suits inside the saftey of the glass entrance, laughing and pointing at the small turnout.

Obviously, the club means fuck all to these people, and as long as it not their jobs in jepoardy, they don't give a toss.

Wankers the lot of them.

If we knew clappers we would tell you, but it seems like there is only one man that knows and he owns the club. I guess we all have to wait till the summer to find out whats really going on. I for one am a little dissilusioned, but what ever happens i will remain blue, just like you will remain red nomatter how american your lot become.

as a red I have and this hurts to say, ( forget the 2 defeats)you have looked like a fare outfit from time to time. The promise of more cash and a manager to take you further over the next frew years. A decent fan base already, some good kids coming through and there was the potential to start making people take proper notice. You appear to be ending the season a laughing stock if I may be so bold. I just dont get what is happening.I do have a sneaking suspicion Sven may have been here for the short term to steady a sinking ship ( you were awful under Pearce ) but it sounds like the club is imploding. Like all reds I know, it doesnt matter what the fuck happens and how good/bad you are, you remain loyal to that club but.......................just when it appeared you had turned the first corner all this shit is going on. I really really do not get it at all

joking aside, i just hope and pray that if sven goes, whoever comes in is more successful because thats when the shit would really hit the fan. Stuart hall used to call maine road... the theatre of base comedy... the venue has moved but the song remains the same
