Despite what I said on BM, i think this is probably good for the club BUT that doesnt make up for the complete shit that is going on at the moment.

If this guy had been appointed under different circumstances I'd see it as a positive thing and then leave the bloke to do whatever it is he'll be doing.

The BM heads in the sand are treating him as a demi-god already

What the fuck does he know about running an English football club

He may do a great job, but he is a Frank employee and therefore as things go the man has to be a cunt

He may result in us shifting more shirts in korea or something but Sven was going to try to get us in the top 4 which personally excites me a lot more than reading Citys accounts and going 'oh look we sold 5000 more keyrings this season than last, thats good'

He will put prices of season tickets up

Frank will not look bad as his Exec is doing it for the good of the club..........

To be honest Rasc, if the bloke put up prices slightly but pointed out that this was to cover the cost of say 4 new international players etc I'd go with the flow but as we're lookin at the prospect of watching a lower value team next year it's a piss take.

unfortunately ticket prices will go up, as they have most places. they went up 2 quid a game for next season which isnt too bad, but if they go up any more i wont be able to afford it anymore. Frightening to think tho that my season ticket in 1991 on the kippax was £70 and now the eqivalent is £500 . wish my wages had gone up at the same rate.

If Frank resigned, would you get a season ticket again?

To me it all points to us becoming a Brand more than anything else. Now, I kind of knew that Thaksin would be using us for his own means but I NEVER suspected that it would be his priority.

I have an awful feeling that in 30 years time there will BE no proper football as such....it will be done online playing games by one man sat in an empty office with 500 million people worldwide each sat in their club shirt in their front room watching the result of said meglomaniac.

And I'm not even joking here.

The future Sad

The old days have gone our club is now a club of corporate whores.

My old Grandad who watched us from the Hyde Road days would be disgusted
