Is it true that City placed certain terms and conditions on him re fitness etc. And that he got a bit pissed off with it?

If so, that says a lot.

I would have hoped so.

I get the impression that Milan signing Ronaldfatso means that they will sell Kaka to Chelsea for many many millions

No doubt the full gloat..., sorry, story will be in tomorrows MUEN.

Already had a couple of rag texts, they don't seem to understand "never wanted him anyway".

Probably Rasc.

But in a way I was cheered up by the reports that we DID get a bit tight on certain conditions re Ronnie. Shows we haven't lost the plot completely.

my city hat is safe, as i said i would eat it if we signed him, and as for using the money to buy someone else, do those on BM not realise the money was never there it was being funded from sponsors and shirt sales. I cant see us spending big again this summer, because in the programme from our last home game our mail order chairman himself said there wouldnt be lots of money till next summer. If the welsh gypo manages to find a decent right sided player and a left back I think thats as much as we can hope for. Some people seem to forget we already have a fantastic set of players from svens tenure, bought ones and youth players making the grade. A bit more consistancy and a bit of away form and we could start to look at achieving something worthwhile.

It'll be interesting to see how he does at Milan... The fact you "never wanted him anyway" is a bit worrying though.

I never wanted him.

Why is it worrying?

If Thaksin had been buying Kaka i would not have complained.

Don't think we're at the stage where we can not want players of his calibre... Perhaps im wrong, we'll see in the next few years...
