It's being rumoured that it will be a done deal sometime this weekend.

Don't ask me for the source....it's off BM.

Some bloke claims he works for Sky Sports.

I've said it time and time again, if the bigboys don't want him they must know something we don't....
Suspect

Personally i want players that will play more than 10 times a season and not here to sell more shirts.

Totally in agreement Mat.

And I don't think he wants to come to City in a million years.
Compare with Dunne who has accepted 20 grand a week less than what he could have got. That's the kind of player I want.

Well i would like him here myself.

i know he dosnt want to come here and you got to ask yourself as a former 2 time world player of the year, how high is man city in your thoughts ?

if we are honest it wouldnt be more than a who the fuck are they.

But with his mate and Elano here maybe selling the dream we share, who knows ??

I believe he has liked the attention we have given him, even if it just to keep his name in the papers whilst he hopes a "big" club comes in at the depth.

i dont think they will, they want a perfect product at that cost and we have to gamble to make our name sound out across the globe, so others will sit up and take notice of the true team from manchester City Ball Jump

ps have started early Guinness Down

I think he's genuinly intrigued by our offer, Ballague on Sky said so that he was seriously comtemplating us from the offset.

I can see why, if he's sold the dream by Cook et al he's the messiah in that scenario, he'll be back at the top of the football ladder for the end of his career and it will be becasue of him, suposidly, that City are at the summit.

I think his endorsors might not be so keen on moving to us, although we are rapdily becoming a much higher profile club, and i also wonder if, in the back of his head he'd rather just see out the rest of his career at the top rather than the "dream" we're offering him.

But he's taking a long time, and he's widely out of shape, Cook has set a deadline, lets hope he sticks to it!

Ronnie will be a disaster. Trust me on this one.

No way will he be an integral part of our team or Club.

Have seen far too much football over the last 40 years to think otherwise.

i know them clips where just from a knock about friendly and he was as fat as me (maybe) but the skill and vision are there in abundance.

Do you not think he would be step ahead of the cloggers in the prem ?

im sure plenty of shit champs league teams have tried in the past.

i am just hopefull and maybe deluded that just once in my life we maybe just maybe challenge for a trophy and knock that fucking clock hand right out of the rag ground

Because you either build a team that plays together or you go for a showboat pony and try to fix pieces into a jigsaw puzzle that sometimes refuse to fit together.

This is worse. This is an unfit player that has no real desire to play for us. One on massve wages to boot.

Tell me where that has worked before. I will listen....I'm not completely closed to such ideas after all, but in truth I have never seen it happen.
