So, your car is kaput. And your girlfriend is gone. And thine house they have sold.

A real cult player Stevie Ireland, I love him. Most footballers and characterless drones but Stevie is just a mental bastard. He's my favourite player and I reckon this season we might just see the real Stephen Ireland Very Happy

Agreed, he's just a little different and crazy.
And a great player, on his day of course.

My favourite player is Petrov....for his talent and those sheer driving goals from the left. Every single time you see him get on a ball at pace you know we could score. A ricochet, or a break and a great pass from someone and you just know he will be there or thereabouts.

But my heart belongs to Ireland. Mad as a bleedin hatter; either super confident and sublime, or woeful. But I love him to bits and I always want him to do well.

The tag of the "most naturally gifted player" from those that know and work with him speaks volumes. And someone posted something on BM about him a few days ago....saying how he was heard in the street in the evening after the 2/1 at OT shouting at Hart "England's Number One!!!!!"

Big kid, mad as a box of frogs....but I love him to bits. Hope he stays with us for many seasons to come and proves the doubters wrong.
