Are City Going for broke

All the signings, and maybe some more coming according to Leslie,with our precarious financial position of securing loans with further TV revenue it's looks to me that City are going with a very high risk strategy in an attempt to secure European football, win a trophy to raise the clubs profile?

If it comes off then all well and good but didn't Leeds try the same?
